UACES Collaborative Research Networks

To help promote the exchange of ideas on Europe, UACES has a funding stream for 'Collaborative Research Networks (CRNs)'.

 

Networks will receive up to £5,000 over a three year period. The Call for Network proposals will be advertised via the UACES email list and on this website each year.

The deadline for the next round of applications is Monday 1 February 2010.

Core CRN activities

  • Organise research meetings and workshops;

  • Propose UACES Annual Conference panels;

  • Maintain a visible and up-to-date web presence and email network (i.e. acquiring a domain and setting up a website)

  • Members will act as referees for Annual Conference panel paper and/or panel proposals if required;

  • Generate contributions to UACES’ various publications, as appropriate.

    • Further Network obligations

  • Annual report on activities to the UACES committee;

  • Publicity for UACES at any network event including those which are co-sponsored with other funders (eg if the network creates a panel at another organisation’s conference)
